Please pray for this time as we seek to help those who are lonely and vulnerable. Each week starts with 'thought for today' from 9.00-9.30 a.m.
If you are interested in joining a small group from Open Door who are exploring faith, chatting and learning more about God, Jesus, prayer and church, then join us as we meet fortnightly from 1.00 p.m. (for about 1½ hours).

PRAYER at Christ Church  **SUSPENDED**

During the Coronavirus crisis - we will pray from home

Every Tuesday evening from 7.30 – 8.30 p.m. we meet in the downstairs room in the Church Centre to pray. This prayer time is an important part of our corporate church life as we are in a spiritual battle - so please make every effort to come along and seek God's face.

"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land. I will listen to every prayer made in this place, for I have chosen this Temple and set it apart to be my home forever. My eyes and my heart will always be here" (2 Chronicles 7:14-15)

There is also an opportunity to pray every Sunday morning at 10.00 a.m. in the Prayer Room before the Morning Worship service

Support Groups

During the Coronavirus crisis we are continuing to meet mainly via Zoom.

Support Groups are small groups meeting in someone's home on Wednesday evenings for fellowship and Bible study. We currently have four groups meeting and if you would like to join one please see Revd Ian.
