Each session is held on the 2nd Saturday of every month (no session in August)
OPEN DOOR - Drop-in Cafe
Tuesday mornings: 9.00 - 1.00 p.m.
Open Door is a time when Christ Church will be open and anyone from the community can come and have a chat over a cup of coffee/tea. The intention is that relationships will be built up and support offered through signposting. Please pray for this time as we seek to help those who are lonely and vulnerable.
Each week we start with a 'thought for today' from 9.00-9.30 a.m.
PRAYER at Christ Church
Every Tuesday evening from 7.30 – 8.30 p.m. we meet in the downstairs room in the Church Centre to pray. This prayer time is an important part of our corporate church life as we are in a spiritual battle - so please make every effort to come along and seek God's face. During the evening some of us also go out prayer walking around Matchborough.
"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land. I will listen to every prayer made in this place, for I have chosen this Temple and set it apart to be my home forever. My eyes and my heart will always be here" (2 Chronicles 7:14-15)
There is also an opportunity to pray every Sunday morning at 10.00 a.m. in the Prayer Room before the Morning Worship service
Support Groups are small groups meeting in someone's home on Wednesday evenings for fellowship and Bible study. We currently have four groups meeting and if you would like to join one please see Revd Richard
